Composition

Natural plant extracts with marked diuretic activity. Lespedeza dry extract, 90 mg. Cynara, 80 mg. Ortosifón, 50 mg. Sorbitol 150 mg 

Properties

Contains an osmotic diuretic (Sorbitol) that, unlike other diuretics is most effective when the renal circulation is compromised acutely by hypovolemic shock or trauma. This is because the solutes in glomerular filtration determine a more complete resorption and therefore more water is retained.

Unlike furosemide, prolonged use produces no water or electrolyte imbalances. Furthermore, no excessive potassium loss occurs, so that it is very effective in treating congestive heart failure because they do not interfere with digitalis glycosides. On the other hand, it is one of the most effective diuretics in the treatment of acute renal failure (ARF) and chronic renal failure (CRF) because the increased nitrogen levels and oliguria which occurs in this case is solved by the action of natural plant extracts containing diuretic action.

Sorbitol: osmotic diuretic. Its action is based on the increased blood concentration of electrolyte and electrolytic substances in order not to exceed the capacity of renal tubular reabsorption, causing the excretion of these substances by large amounts of body water.

Ortosifon: Used to treat kidney and bladder diseases. Potent diuretic that increases the renal elimination of fluids, urea, chloride and uric acid. Due to its draining action, helping to eliminate gallstones and kidney.

Cynara: Hypoglycemic acting on the liver and promotes the secretion of bile and the metabolism of cholesterol and urea. It has a hepatoprotective activity that helps lower total cholesterol level. Also it regulates several hepatic functions, especially the production of bile (choleretic), antitoxic functions and output of bile. It helps liver disorders caused by ecstasy. Because of its high iron content is a very effective anti-anemic. It also prevents the formation of kidney stones, and restorer of liver tissue.

Lespedeza: In kidney stimulates the elimination of toxins and is hypoglycemic. In liver it promotes the secretion of bile, the metabolism of cholesterol and urea.

Indications

Dosage:

Dogs: 1 tablet per 6 kg body weight 2 times a day with a maximum of 5 tablets per day..

Treatment duration: up to 6 months.
