RED CELL Care is a complete vitamin and mineral supplement for the treatment of anemic states and to support recovery in dogs and cats.

Mechanism of action:
RED CELL Care provides 19 vitamins and trace elements. Iron, copper, cobalt and B2, B6, B9, B12 and vitamin K3 are essential for the synthesis of hemoglobin and red blood cells. Vitamins A, D3, and contribute to the optimal B6 bone and muscle development. A third group (vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, choline and potassium) are essential for metabolic processes that convert nutrients into energy. Vitamin B1 is also an appetite stimulant. Finally, manganese, selenium, zinc and vitamin E are key factors in many metabolic processes, and enhancing the immune system and protect cells by neutralizing free radicals (antioxidant).
• Iron (mainly absorbed in the proximal small intestine) is an essential component in the formation of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is responsible for transporting oxygen in the blood and control the division of erythrocytes and release from bone marrow. When there is a shortage of iron, hemoglobin production is insufficient, causing anemia. This iron deficiency is often associated with inadequate dietary intake or chronic blood loss.
• Copper, B group vitamins and vitamin K perform different roles, all essential in the correct formation of hemoglobin, erythrocytes and optimal functioning of the physiological mechanisms of coagulation.
