Atopivet Spot-On is a hygiene product for dogs and cats that helps maintain the integrity of healthy skin, moisturizing and nourishing the skin of pets.

Atopivet Spot-On is recommended in debilitating processes of skin integrity such as atopic dermatitis.

Dermal hyaluronic acid significantly increases the proliferation of keratinocytes and the migration of dermal fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are involved in the regenerative capacity of the skin. Dermial induces an increase in the hydration capacity of the skin due to the increased production of Hyaluronic Acid and its ability to increase the production of elastin.

Ceramides are essential sphingolipids of the stratum corneum that play a key role in maintaining the functions of the skin barrier. Defects in the barrier, such as those that occur in debilitating conditions of skin integrity such as atopic dermatitis, have been associated with a decrease in ceramide levels and morphological alterations of the stratum corneum, as well as a decrease in filaggrin expression. Filagrin is a very important protein involved in the maintenance of skin functions and reepithelialization processes among others.

Biosfeen® is a sphingolipid containing ceramides and a high content of sphingomyelin, a precursor of ceramides. Biosfeen® increases the levels of ceramides, increase because it stimulates the endogenous synthesis of ceramides. This is confirmed by ultrastructural observations of lamellar bodies after the use of Atopivet Spot-On. It has also been observed that it helps to diminish the inflammatory process and pruritus.

Posology and method of administration:

Apply the number of Atopivet Spot-On pipettes indicated below during a recommended period of 8 weeks:

Dogs and cats <15 kg 1 pipette / 2 times per week

Dogs> 15 kg 2 pipettes / 2 times per week
