Feeding Directions
Feed based on recommended daily amounts indicated below. Adjust amounts to ensure your bird’s optimum body condition. Feed daily to provide the foundation of your bird’s diet. Keep fresh food and water available at all times. Discard uneaten food before each feeding. As with all foods, wash hands after use and food and water bowls before each feeding.

The idea for better animal nutrition started in veterinary medicine in 1928 when Mark L. Morris, DVM, founded the Raritan Animal Hospital, the second small animal hospital in the United States. Dr. Morris discovered that sick dogs and cats could be treated by changing their diets - changes that sometimes eliminated or added nutritional elements to their diets, depending on their condition or disease.
Raritan Animal Hospital in 1928 where the original Hill's prescription diets were formulated. This contribution to animal nutrition eventually led to the development of the ZuPreem line of diets that are available worldwide today.
Prescription Diet®
At the Raritan Animal Hospital, Dr. Morris formulated the beginning of the Prescription Diet® line of products for sick dogs and cats. These products included diets for kidney disease, heart disease and intestinal problems. Dr. Morris passed his commitment to bettering the lives of animals through proper nutrition to his son, Mark L. Morris Jr. DVM, PhD.
Science Diet®
