ASTER TrisOftal Wipes. Wipes for periocular cleaning and labial commissures in dogs, cats and horses.

ASTER TrisOftal Wipes are highly impregnated dermatological wipes formulated with a combination of EDTA, Trometamine and Chlorhexidine. Indicated for cleaning, asepsis and odor control of the periocular area and labial commissures in dogs, cats and horses. Its relief texture facilitates the removal of scabs and detritus from the periocular and perilabial areas, while decreasing the bacterial load in the area.
They favor the cleaning and aeration of the affected tissue and allow a better application and effectiveness of other topical treatments.

Indications:

• It helps to eliminate and prevent the appearance of lacrimal stains and those produced by saliva and to reduce the associated malodor.

• For the cleaning and elimination of secretions in pathologies prior to the application of ophthalmological treatments.

• For daily hygiene in breeds predisposed to suffer excessive ocular secretion (Maltese Bichon, Poodle, Persian Cat ...).

• Adjuvant in cleaning and pre-surgical preparation.

• Cleaning the eyelids after eyelid surgery (entropion, ectopion ...).

• Coadjuvant in the treatment of palpebral lacerations in horses.

• Adjuvant in the treatment of pyoderma of the peribucal area (mucocutaneous pyoderma, intertrigo labial, which is usually a big problem for dogs with large labial folds, such as the Cocker Spaniel or the Great Dane ....).

• Cleaning injuries of the perioral area in horses, eg. wounds produced per snack.

Trometamine base 0.2%
Disodium EDTA 0.05%
Benzalkonium Chloride 0.02%
Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.002%
Trometamine HCl csp pH 6.8 - 7.2

How to use:

Dermatological use for ocular or saliva spots:
 • Cut the hair from the affected area.
 • Gently wipe the periocular region with the wipe by a circular movement towards the outside of the eye, or around the mouth for saliva spots.

For daily hygiene and as a coadjuvant in the treatment of eye and lip pathologies:

Gently rub the hair and skin of the affected area to remove adhering residues.

Initial: Apply twice a day for 2 weeks, then 1 time a day.
Maintenance: 2-3 times per week as necessary or following the instructions of your veterinarian.
