Psittacus Breeding High Protein Formula

This product is indicated for the reproductive stage of those medium and large species that, in addition to needing at the moment a diet rich in high quality protein, are benefited by the fatty acid profiles rich in oleic (Amazona, Cacatua, Psittacula, etc.). Breeding feeds have been devised to stimulate reproduction. They contain high levels of protein with a suitable amino acid profile for this stage. In addition, they have been formulated with special attention to their fatty acid profile and to the contributions of Omega 6 and Omega 3. The concentration of vitamins and antioxidants in these feeds is much higher than in maintenance feeds, in order to cover The greater requirements that the breeding involves.
Recommendations
It is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot diet. However, we consider it interesting to provide fresh fruits and vegetables daily to give variety to the diet. In this case, we recommend that Psittacus not lower from 70-80% of the total. It is not advisable to add any type of vitamin-mineral supplement to those parrots that basically feed on Psittacus. In the case of numerous and repeated settlements, we suggest giving them access to our formula Psittacus Calcium Grit Coarse as a source of calcium for voluntary consumption. It is advisable to renew the feed and water daily. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place in a closed container.
Daily consumption
Daily consumption ranges from 5 to 8% of the animal's weight. Medium-sized species (such as the blue-fronted Amazon) consume around 20 to 35g per day.
