Indicated
This product is indicated for the manual rearing of psittacidae chicks from the second neonatal phase up to the moment when the cannons of the feathers begin to emerge. It should be noted that in the first neonatal phase it is preferable to use Psittacine Crop Milk. It is indicated for a great majority of species of parrots of the genus Psittacus, Poicephalus, Amazon, Cacatua, Ara, Psittacula, Aratinga, Platycercus, etc. It is contraindicated for the breeding of nymphs and small Australian Psittacidae. Recommendations
It is a porridge of first age. It is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot diet. Its use is indicated from 7 to 21 days of age, depending on the species. From that moment it is advisable to use a continuation porridge. Mix with warm water at a concentration of 20-25% (texture similar to beaten yogurt). Once opened, store in a cool, dry place (it is possible to freeze the hermetically packaged product but it is not advisable to keep it in the refrigerator).
Daily consumption
The chicks with a week of life usually need up to 6 shots a day (depending on the species). The capacity of the animal's crop will indicate the correct amount to be supplied. The number of shots per day decreases with age. It should be noted that the crop has to be empty before each shot.
