Psittacus Parrot Breeder

This product is a versatile formula for birds of the family of psittacidae in their reproductive stage. Its aim is to stimulate reproduction. It contains high levels of protein with a suitable amino acid profile for this stage. The concentration in vitamins and antioxidants of this feed is much higher than in maintenance feed, in order to meet the higher requirements of breeding. Not suitable for nymphs and other small sized parrots.
Recommendations
It is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot diet. However, we consider it interesting to provide fresh fruits and vegetables daily to give variety to the diet. In this case, we recommend that Psittacus not lower from 70-80% of the total of the same. It is not advisable to add any type of vitamin-mineral supplement to those parrots that basically feed on Psittacus. In the case of numerous and repeated settlements, we suggest giving them access to our formula Psittacus Calcium Grit Coarse as a source of calcium for voluntary consumption. It is advisable to renew the feed and water daily. Once opened, store in a cool, dry place in a closed container.
Daily consumption
Daily consumption ranges from 5% to 8% of body weight in medium-sized species (such as gray parrot) and up to 10% in smaller species.
