PREBIOTICS

Mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) and Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are Prebiotics whose supplementation to the animal’s diet has beneficial effects on intestinal health. MOS and FOS improve the consistency of faeces, improving the digestibility of fats increasing the amount of Bifidobacterium in the intestine and thus reducing the amount of E.coli (1).  Inulin is an FOS Prebiotic added to Select VD Digestion. Adding MOS and FOS has a positive effect associated with the dog’s intestinal health (2).

MINT AND SALVIA

Mint is ideal for many digestive ailments, such as indigestion, nausea, la flatulencies or pains in the upper gastrointestinal tract. Salvia, with choleretic properties, is linked to the reduction of pains caused by gastritis.

FENUGREEK SEEDS

Fenugreek is a plant commonly found in the South of Europe. It’s seeds are associated with digestion and stimulating the appetite.

YUCCA

Adding yucca into the diet helps to reduce faecal odour, as well as unpleasant gaseous compounds causing flatulence (3).
