Calibra Dog Life Adult Small Breed Lamb
Calibra Dog Life Adult Small Breed Lamb is a complete food for adult small breed dogs (up to 10 kg) with lamb. This recipe is high in quality lamb protein and low in cereals (rice only) and is hypoallergenic. Proteins of animal origin constitute 80% of its total content. The recipe is compiled as a monoprotein, just a source of animal protein. The composition is enriched with the addition of salmon oil, which also helps in the care of the dog's healthy skin and coat and has anti-inflammatory, prebiotic effects with probiotics that promote good digestion and together with a mixture of vitamins and minerals they strengthen the dog's immunity, general health and vitality. The granules are smaller in size.
Functions of the main additives
- Salmon oil: a source of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA) necessary to support the physiological function of the skin and coat and its quality. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect.
- Vitamins and chelated minerals (organic form of highly useful minerals) - for the proper functioning of the body, prevention of diseases and strengthening of the immune system.
- Fructooligosaccharides and mannan-oligosaccharides (FOS, MOS) are prebiotics that support the intestinal microflora, the proper functioning of the digestive tract and strengthen the immune system.
- β-glucans stimulate and support the immune system.
- Lactobacillus acidophilus (inactivated): acts as a paraprobiotic and has a positive effect on the immune system.
Ingredients: lamb protein (40%), rice (28%), poultry fat (11%, canned tocopherols), beer rice (10%), dried apple pulp (3%), yeast, chicken liver hydrolyzate (2%), salmon oil
(2%), prebiotics (mannan oligosaccharides 120 mg / kg, β-glucans 100 mg / kg, fructooligosaccharides 70 mg / kg), dried rosemary and thyme (200 mg / kg), Yucca schidigera (80 mg / kg)), Lactobacillus acidophilus HA-122 inactivated (15 x 109 cells / kg).

History
The history of Calibra dates back to 2001 when we decided to develop a new range of dry pet food in cooperation with veterinary experts. Our goal was to offer dog owners and breeders high-quality, nutritionally balanced food made from natural ingredients suitable even for animals suffering from food allergies and digestive problems. Development was completed in 2004 and we introduced Calibra′s first granulated dry dog food on the market. Since 2004, we have been continuously expanding and innovating our product range.

In recent years, the Calibra brand has become one of the most popular brands of commercial pet food on the Czech market. In 2015, we introduced a comprehensive range of veterinary diet dry pet food and earned a place among the few major manufacturers of clinical diets. In 2016, we expanded our range with an entirely new line of canned food for dogs and cats. At the same time, we also introduced an innovative superpremium line of dry pet food that includes grain free products.

Basic Ingredients

In addition to the basic ingredients, individual recipes contain an ideal balance of vitamins and minerals, as well as a number of other highly beneficial additives:
Seaweed – an effective antioxidant and source of minerals; supports the immune system and reduces dental plaque and tartar
Fruit and Herb Blend (extracts of orange, rosemary, thyme, and parsley) – enhances palatability, reduces harmful bacteria, and supports the immune system, which in turn increases the body′s disease resistance
Yucca Extract – reduces the amount of ammonia and other harmful gases in the intestines and the digestive system by up to 50%; also reduces flatulence
