Vexoderm. Wound care

Vexoderm is a state-of-the-art active dressing that cleans and detoxifies the bed of the wound contributing to the regeneration of damaged tissue.

Vexoderm is a sterile primary dressing designed to improve skin alterations. Composed of a lyophilized matrix with capacity for absorption and regulation of hydration, and a solution with dermoprotective properties.

Its innovative and patented design is the result of years of research in the field of regenerative medicine, with the aim of achieving a rapid healing of complicated and wound care of the wound with WEEK PERIODICITY.

Vexoderm is made up of 2 components that give it unique features:
High-absorption absorbing lyophilized matrix composed of galactomannans.
Hydration solution for antioxidant properties, based on acetyl cysteine ​​and curcumin.

Vexoderm is recommended for complicated wounds of difficult healing:

• Abrasions
• Burns
• Bites
• Necrosis
• Ulcers
• Loss of tissue after surgery of tumors.
• Surgical wounds and suturing dehiscences.

Vexoderm is based on the wet cure principle, which is a procedure by which the ideal conditions of humidity, temperature and protection in the wound bed are created so that the healing progresses properly.

Instructions for use:

Vexoderm application for the first time.

1. Hydrate the matrix using the entire hydration solution. To absorb the entire solution the matrix needs about 60 ".

2. Clean the wound using Ringer Lactate or saline.

3. Place Vexoderm directly on the wound covering the entire affected area.

4. Cover with a secondary dressing (paraffin gauze or transparent polyurethane film) to maintain moisture. If necessary, fix with frame.

5. Cover the secondary dressing with cotton to keep the temperature.

6. Use self-adhesive bandage or bandage sale and foam tape to protect and secure the bandage.

Later changes to Vexoderm.

Vexoderm is easily removed and does not adhere to the wound bed.

A. Carefully remove the dressing.

B. Clean the exudate gently with Ringer: Lactate or temperate saline serum without touching the bed of the wound.

C. Repeat steps 1 through 6 until the total closure.

It is recommended to change Vexoderm every 7 days. In necrotic or very exudative wounds, check the wound at 3-5 days to verify your condition. It is very important to maintain proper humidity and temperature. The matrix can be used on both sides.
