The line of dermatological products for atopic skin LetiCaderm calms the pruritus, restores the epidermal barrier, protects against irritants and controls the overgrowth of pathogens.
With scientifically selected assets: polidocanol, myristil phospho-maleate, linoleic acid and linolenic acid, and polyphenols from pomegranate, among others.

Skin barrier dysfunction is associated with an alteration in lipid metabolism and dysfunction of the expression of proteins such as filaggrin. Studies show that dogs with atopic dermatitis have a lower concentration of sphingosine 1 phosphate (S1P), a specific sphingolipid that modulates cutaneous homeostasis.
The alteration of the skin barrier leads to dryness of the skin, which exacerbates itching and facilitates the penetration of irritants and allergens of environmental or microbiological origin.
The LetiCaderm line has 4 effects:
Itching painkiller
Polidocanol: antipruritic component, relieves itching, the main symptom of atopic dermatitis (1).
Reinforcement of the cutaneous barrier
Myristil phospho-maleate: an analog of sphingosine 1 phosphate (S1P), promotes the synthesis of filaggrin and ceramides. In addition, it activates the process of differentiation of keratinocytes and restores hydric homeostasis of the skin (2,3,4,5).
Linoleic acid and linolenic acid: Essential fatty acids precursors of ceramide 1, the main lipid of the structural matrix (6,7).
Protection against irritants
Linoleic acid and linolenic acid: Precursor essential fatty acids, with anti-inflammatory properties. Coming from safflower oil (Carthamus tinctorius) (6,7).
Control of pathogenic flora
Pomegranate polyphenols: Active against Staphylococcus spp and Malassezia spp, control the overgrowth of pathogens in the skin (8).
