Malasil Silver Ag + Shampoo for Dogs and Cats
Malasil developed by König contain microspheres of the silver ion (Ag +), with antibiofilm and antimicrobial action. These microspheres penetrate the biofilm destroying its organization, allowing the efficient attack of the silver ion (Ag +) against Malassezia spp. and other pathogens.
It dissolves polysaccharides, degrading the polymeric structure of the biofilm, thus allowing an effective antibacterial action.
It causes morphological changes incompatible with the viability of pathogens (alteration of the structure of the cell wall). It inhibits the transmembrane transport of proteins, decreasing the production of cellular energy. Inactivates enzymes and bioactive intracellular proteins. Alters DNA by inhibiting microbial replication. It inhibits the filamentation and subsequent biofilm formation of Malassezia spp, eliminating the two main virulence factors of this microorganism. Prevents the adhesion of secondary bacteria.
Dermatological shampoo specially developed to treat seborrheic dermatitis and its complications. MalaSIL is the ideal complement to combat the conditions caused by Malassezia sp, and secondary infections of other micro-organisms that affect the skin and hair. MalaSIL contains micronized silver that prevents the formation of biofilm and the adhesion of bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
How to use
• Moisten the animal's hair with warm water and apply MalaSIL shampoo all over the animal.
• Rub until lather. Take special care to apply in the interdigital areas, around the lips and under the tail.
• Leave to act for 5 minutes and rinse with plenty of water.
• Repeat washing 2 times a week until symptoms disappear.
• As a preventive measure, it can be used once a week, especially in the hottest months.

Melaleuca quinquenervia.
