Alleva Care Renal-ANTIOX is a complete dietary food for adult cats, indicated as support in case of chronic or acute renal failure and to reduce the formation of oxalate and urate stones.

Alleva Care Renal ANTI-OX contains a low content of easily digestible protein to better control nitrogen catabolites in the blood, a low content of phosphorus to reduce the development of hyperphosphatemia and secondary hyperparathyroidism, and a moderate content of sodium to reduce the development of systemic hypertension. The diet is also low in calcium and vitamin D3 to reduce oxalate stone formation. A reduced level of protein in the diet, along with the use of low-purine protein sources, such as whole eggs, reduce urate stone formation. The addition of potassium citrate and carbonate supports alkalinization of urine pH, increasing urine saturation with ions and preventing metabolic acidosis.
