Alleva Care Renal Antioxidant is a complete dietary food for adult dogs. This diet is formulated to support chronic or acute kidney failure, and to reduce the formation of oxalate and urate stones.

Alleva Care Renal Antioxidant has a reduced content of easily digestible proteins to better control nitrogen catabolites in the blood. It contains low phosphorus and sodium to reduce the occurrence of hyperphosphatemia, secondary hyperparathyroidism and systemic hypertension. Additionally, the diet is low in calcium and vitamin D3 to reduce oxalate stone formation. Using low-purine protein sources, such as whole eggs, helps reduce urate stone formation. The addition of potassium citrate and carbonate alkalinizes the pH of the urine, preventing metabolic acidosis. The recipe is complemented with a vegetable blend rich in polyphenols.
