Mederi Leishfant Pet Factor

100% vegetable food supplement with dry extract of Artemisia annua, vitamins and minerals.

Especially indicated to alleviate the symptoms caused by leishmaniasis in NON-ANEMIC animals.

The active principle in LEISHFANT PET FACTOR is artemisinin, a sesquiterpene lactone that contains an endoperoxide group which acts by inducing apoptosis by inhibiting the growth of the parasites that cause leishmania infantum.

The mechanism of action of artemisinin is due to an iron-catalyzed intraparasitic cleavage of the endoperoxide bridge that leads to the production of free radicals that are toxic to the parasite.

This presentation is ideal for dogs WITHOUT ANEMIA in which, in addition to artemisinin as an active principle, thanks to certain vitamins and minerals, the normal formation of blood cells or red blood cells will be improved (vitamins B9 and B12 in methylated form) , the redistribution of iron from its deposits to the bone marrow (vitamin A), as well as neutralizing the oxidative stress that can be generated in the bone marrow and that can affect the normal formation of red blood cells (selenium, manganese, zinc and vitamins C and E).

How to use / recommended doses.
Recommended daily dose: Max. 60 mg / kg / day. One (1) tablet every 8 kg / day.
