Bopp Soul's repellent shampoo is highly effective as a prevention against the different parasites to which our pets are exposed daily. Its ingredients are 100% ecological and biodegradable, maintaining high protection and hydration without slipping the skin (eliminating natural and necessary fat). Unlike shampoos with synthetic ingredients that can be harsher on the skin, Bopp Soul's eco-friendly repellent shampoo uses mild cleansers without altering your skin's pH.

Its main cosmetic principles are “Brassica Juncea Seed Extract” (brown mustard seed oil) and “Brassica Alba Seed Extract” (white mustard seed oil). Both are hygroscopic ingredients, with moisturizing properties without leaving a greasy feeling on the animal's coat and highly effective against fleas and ticks.

In addition, both mustard oils contain antifungal, disinfectant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, fundamental characteristics in the formulation of our repellent shampoo, being different from the rest since the most common active principle that is usually used is the essential oil of rosemary or a tree citrus, although these last two oils are less effective as antiparasitics.

On a dermatological level, white mustard oil has the ability to be even more antimicrobial than brown mustard. Thanks to this function, the skin is cleaner and can regenerate better. In addition, in recent studies, white mustard oil has been shown to maintain healthy skin cells by reducing the risk of possible dermatological diseases.

Another potential ingredient found in shampoo is Cymbopogon Winterianus Herb Oil (citronella oil) extracted from the aromatic plant Syzygium aromaticum Syn. Eugenia caryophyllus. Its chemical composition is mainly citronellol. It acts as a fungicide, antiseptic, insecticide and its antibacterial effect is enhanced by being in conjunction with mustard oils. Citronella oil is highly effective against mosquitoes and other insects.

Finally and as an aromatic touch we have added Citrus Limon Peel Oil or lemon oil and Mentha Piperita Oil or peppermint oil, natural oils that are easy to tolerate for our pets and that contain insect repellent, anti-inflammatory and regulating properties of sebum and water on the coat of the dog's fur.
