Description
Ocucan Rufus Eye drops hydrate the eyes and improve the quality of the tear of dogs and cats. It contains two moisturizing agents: hyaluronic acid and HEC.
Prevents eye irritation and the tendency to infections associated with the lack of tears in pets.
Ocucan Rufus Moisturizing drops restores the balance of the tear film of dogs and cats. The presence in the formula of hyaluronic acid contributes to retain the water and adheres the tear film to the corneal epithelium. Its viscoelastic properties make the viscosity increase when the eye is open and decrease with the blinking, causing a lasting effect. Hyaluronic acid stays in the eye for longer, unlike other moisturizers. The HEC acts as an additional humectant and adds more viscosity to the drops, making them more comfortable.
Ocucan Rufus Moisturizing drops are adjusted to the tonicity and pH of your pet's tear. It has been packaged in sterile conditions and contains ingredients that are fully compatible with your dog's tear.

Indications
Hydration to prevent the dry eye of dogs and cats:
- associated with allergies
- due to tear production deficiency
- associated with eyelid injuries
- for the absence of flicker during anesthesia (use in the clinic)
Instructions for use
- As preventive or palliative in case of ocular dryness
- Instile one or two drops in each eye twice a day or as often as recommended by your veterinarian, ensuring that the animal has its eyes open, so that it enters the conjunctival sac.
- As a moisturizer during anesthesia
- Apply several drops in each eye while the procedure lasts and the animal remains with the eyes open.
Composition
Isotonic and buffered saline solution containing hyaluronic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC), edetate disodium and polyhexamethylene biguanide 0.0001%.
